When was our species
more in the grip of madness
than now, in our time ?

The economy
inflicts more harm on Nature
than nuclear bombs:
words are slithery,
certitude mercurial,
truth a delusion.

Best philosophy
is no philosophy: ? Go
along with the flow.
Say and do nothing
but keep your eyes wide open
for tiny changes.

That made sense before
we upset Nature's balance.
Now all bets are off.
