HILBERT PROGRAM FOR CONSTRUCTIVISM ?

Unfortunately, you are right about your comment about the pressure on publishing that leaves little space for discussion. The academic world has increasingly become commercial and the academic ideal of von Humboldt is more than outdated these days.

(from N69) " One possible way may be to have questions formulated and published in a journal, and then invite several workers in this field to address them; this could be followed by a spontaneous discussion by others. "

This sounds like putting forward a "Hilbert-program" for constructivism ?

Once I did a theme special issue on constructivism and its impact on science but I assume you refer to generating a more detailed list of rather concrete questions rather than a global direction ? Now, who should formulate this set of questions ? Is this itself subject of an apriori discussion ? An enquete?
