TO BE AND NOT TO BE YOU

Now I will tell you

Where TAO can be located:

in the human mind

when first the fetus

creates a world for itself

to live in later.

Watery darkness

nothing much going on but

so much potential !

Nothing yet to know

nor yet a mind to know with

even to feel tone

on these temporal

outskirts of a universe

a-borning. My own.

My ten thousand things

that are not yet but shall be

as Tao does its thing.

The darkness is WU

mystery of mysteries !

and the other’s YU

mysterious too

but no more so than you are.

WU and YU and you.

Unless you become

as a little child you can’t

enter the Kingdom.
