This short note is an invitation to visit a web site paper, #Mind Out of Matter#, <www.tiac.net/users/knowweb/minoomat.htm>, which uses the notion that experience is the only way to know the world. It describes an interdisciplinary approach that hopes to reveal how mind evolves along with complex matter in biological evolution. Single cell organism experience is described in terms of intra-cellular functions, such as organelle transport and cell migration, and in terms of whole cell behavior, such as necrotaxis, where white cells seek out wounded red cells. Three complementary languages, quantum field physics, biomolecular chemistry and microscopic cellular imagery are used to illustrate how descriptions can come together into a unified multi-disciplinary picture.
